Master cabins on a Komodo phinisi

Updated 12 October 2026

Princess Nabila has three cabins above the standard sea-view room: Jawa and Sumbawa, the master cabins with a private stern balcony, and the Flores suite with a side balcony. Jawa has a wooden bathtub outdoors. A master cabin costs IDR 5,950,000 (≈ USD 365) per person on the 3D2N for two sharing. The boat is a 25-guest group vessel.

Three cabins go beyond the standard room, and the rest do not

People search for a luxury phinisi, and this page answers with what is printed and what the footage shows. Three of the seven cabins go beyond the standard room. Four are sea-view cabins with a double bed, a pull-out lower bed and one wide window. The other three are the two master cabins and the Flores suite. The upgrade is space, a private balcony and, on Jawa, a wooden bath. It is not a different level of service, and the whole boat is not fitted to that standard. It is a 33 m phinisi for up to 25 guests, built in 2024 and finished in 2025.

All seven cabins share the same basics. Each has its own bathroom with a sit-down toilet, an air conditioner, a sea-view window and a door that closes. All seven are above the waterline, and the rate card prints it as no lower deck cabin.

If you want the best rooms on this boat, they are these three. If you want a vessel fitted to that standard throughout, choose a yacht with fewer cabins and fewer guests.

Jawa, Sumbawa and Flores, one at a time

Jawa, cabin 7, main deck, stern

One wide bed platform holds a double bed and a single side by side. Two light-blue velvet armchairs sit under the side window, and there are windows on two sides. A painting of two silhouettes raising a red-and-white flag hangs in the room. The private stern balcony sits low over the water. On it stands an oval wooden tub with two black metal hoops and a gold tap in the floor, with two bean bags beside it. The bathroom has a rain shower and a wash basin, the only basin seen in any cabin.

Sumbawa, cabin 1, upper deck, stern

A double bed with a pull-out lower bed, a two-seat sofa under corner windows and a roofed balcony with a rattan chair and a round table. A painting of a tree on a small island hangs in the room. The bathroom has a rain shower.

Flores, cabin 2, upper deck, amidships

A double bed, a pull-out lower bed and a sliding door onto a recessed side balcony with two bean bags. The bathroom has a hand shower and no rain shower. The suite holds three guests at most, so a fourth guest is not possible here.

What you hear, what you pass, how it moves

Position decides more than the brochure does. Jawa is on the main deck at the stern, beside the galley, and its door is inside the restaurant, at the end of the window counter. Every time you enter or leave, you pass the dining room. Our rule of thumb, not a measurement, is that the main deck moves less than the upper deck and that the stern beside the galley hears more. Choose Jawa for the bath, for the low balcony near the water, and for not climbing stairs.

Sumbawa sits right above Jawa, at the stern of the upper deck. By the same rule of thumb the upper deck hears the engine less and moves more in a swell. Flores is amidships on the same deck.

Stairs join the three levels, and there is no lift. Sumbawa and Flores are upstairs, so the restaurant is a flight of steps away. The sun deck is another flight above that.

Choose the cabin by what you will do in it. A guest who reads on the balcony in the afternoon wants Sumbawa, whose balcony is roofed. A guest who wants to see the water from the bed wants Jawa.

What a master cabin does not have

Nothing in the footage shows a TV, a safe or a wardrobe in any cabin, and we do not promise them. The balcony is private, but the rest of the boat is shared.

The restaurant is shared by every guest. It has counters and a buffet island and about 20 chairs, and no dining tables, so no master-cabin guest has a table of their own. The sun deck is shared. The same 8 crew look after every cabin. A master cabin gets you a better room, not a separate boat.

A couple who want a master cabin and nobody else near the table need the charter, not the cabin.

Ask us which of the three is free on your dates before you pay a deposit.

If privacy is the point, buy the boat

On the open trip the three upgraded cabins are priced by class and per person, for two sharing. The current list has the master cabins at IDR 5,950,000 (≈ USD 365), the Flores suite at IDR 5,600,000 (≈ USD 344) and a sea-view cabin at IDR 5,150,000 (≈ USD 316) per person for 3D2N. Read the three figures side by side and decide what the balcony is worth to you. The cabins page prints every fare, 2027 included.

On a private charter the boat is yours. A couple pay IDR 30,500,000 (≈ USD 1,871) each. A party of four pays IDR 15,250,000 (≈ USD 936) each and can hold all three upgraded cabins and one more. A party of six pays IDR 11,420,000 (≈ USD 701) each. The whole-boat price for up to five guests on 3D2N is IDR 61,000,000 (≈ USD 3,742).

A charter changes what the cabin means. On a charter the 8 crew, including the cruise director, are there for your party alone, and the restaurant, the sun deck, the kayak and the paddle board are yours for the length of the trip. Park tickets, a guide and the photographs are separate lines on a charter, and the quote lists them before you pay.

Send the head count and the dates, and we reply with the cabins and a figure per head.

FAQ

Which master cabin has the bathtub?

Jawa, with certainty. The wooden tub stands outdoors on its private stern balcony. Sumbawa's tub is not in the June 2025 footage, so check it with us before anyone books that cabin for a bath.

Does the Flores suite have a rain shower?

No. Flores has a hand shower on a wall bracket. Jawa and Sumbawa have a rain shower with a black square head and a hand shower on a column. What Flores adds is the recessed side balcony, reached by a sliding door, with two bean bags.

Do the master cabins come with a private service?

Nothing on the boat's printed list adds a private service to a master cabin. The difference is the room: more space, a private balcony and, on Jawa, the outdoor bath. Meals, drinks, the guide on the open trip and the crew are the same for every cabin.

How many people can sleep in a master cabin?

Three in fixed beds, a double and a single, and a fourth guest on an extra bed. The Flores suite stops at three. A cabin is sold for a minimum of two, and the fourth guest in a master cabin pays the extra-bed rate on the open trip.

Do the master cabins cost the same on the two-day option?

Jawa and Sumbawa share one fare. On the current list the 2D1N master fare is IDR 5,250,000 (≈ USD 322) per person and the Flores suite is IDR 4,950,000 (≈ USD 304). Both are lower than the 3D2N fares.
