Komodo private boat charter: what the whole boat costs per person
Updated 12 October 2026
A Princess Nabila charter prices the whole boat in bands of up to 5, 10, 15 and 20 guests, then a printed amount for each guest up to 25. On 3D2N, 16 guests pay IDR 5,220,000 (≈ USD 320) each and 25 pay IDR 3,840,000 (≈ USD 236). Park tickets, a local guide and a photo set are not in the fare.
Per person, at the head count you actually have
Read the grid by your real head count, not by the band. A 3D2N charter for 10 guests comes to IDR 6,850,000 (≈ USD 420) each, for 16 guests to IDR 5,220,000 (≈ USD 320), for 20 to IDR 4,180,000 (≈ USD 256) and for 25 to IDR 3,840,000 (≈ USD 236). Change the length and the grid answers the same way: 16 guests on 2D1N pay IDR 4,670,000 (≈ USD 287) each, and on 4D3N IDR 6,470,000 (≈ USD 397).
Inside a band the boat costs the same, so every added guest lowers every share. At 16 the boat steps into the next band: 15 guests pay IDR 5,070,000 (≈ USD 311) each, 16 pay IDR 5,220,000 (≈ USD 320) and 17 pay IDR 4,910,000 (≈ USD 301). A group sitting on 15 or 16 should ask for both quotes.
Two people on the whole boat pay IDR 30,500,000 (≈ USD 1,871) each on 3D2N, which is more than five times an open-trip bed. Below 15 guests, set the open trip beside the charter before you decide. Under that line the whole boat buys your own dates, your own programme and no other party, and it does not buy a lower price.

The 3D2N boat price, band by band
3D2N comes first because it is the length the open trip sails, so the two cards compare cleanly. Each table has four bands: 1 to 5, 6 to 10, 11 to 15 and 16 to 20 guests. For the 16-to-20 band the boat costs IDR 83,500,000 (≈ USD 5,123), and every guest from the 21st to the 25th adds IDR 2,500,000 (≈ USD 153).
The first table covers sailings to the end of 2026 and the second covers 1 January to 31 July 2027. For 3D2N the 2027 card is higher in every band. Dates from August 2027 follow the 2027 card until a new one is printed, and if a rate moves before your balance date we write to you first and you can cancel at no charge.
Read the last column as the share when the band is full. A band that is half full costs more per head, which is why the grid above divides by your real head count.

What the fare covers
The fare pays for the boat and the people who work it: the cruise director, the chef and the crew, meals as per the programme, free-flow mineral water, tea and coffee, mask and snorkel sets, a paddle board, a kayak, the karaoke and sound system, and Starlink Wi-Fi. Linen, a bath towel and an ikat cloth to take home are part of it, and prices include 11 percent VAT. Pickup from a hotel or the airport in Labuan Bajo, both ways, is part of every trip.
Footage shows one two-seat inflatable kayak marked EXPLORER and one red stand-up paddle board with a koi print. The rate card prints no count of either, so for a group of 25 plan the water time in turns.
Meals are a buffet, set out on the island in the restaurant. Diet needs travel with the head count. Nothing on this site promises halal, vegan or allergy-safe meals, so a guest with a serious allergy should weigh that before booking.

Park tickets, a guide and a photo set
Three lines sit outside the fare. Park tickets are bought online in each visitor's name and paid separately, and the table below carries the current rates. Rangers belong to the park, and their fee is extra: the park-fees page has the detail.
Next come the guide and the photo set, which is drone, mirrorless and GoPro footage. Both are open-trip inclusions. On a private charter nothing is guided unless the guide line is bought, and each line is quoted separately on request. A drone needs its own park permit.
Settle the guide and the photo set before the deposit, so the quote your group sees already holds the figure it will pay. Budget the park lines per person and per day inside the park before you name a price to your own guests.
| International visitors | IDR 250,000 per person per day |
| Indonesian visitors | IDR 50,000 per person per day · IDR 75,000 weekends & holidays |
Park tickets are bought online, one per visitor and in that visitor's own name, and are paid separately from the fare. Ranger and pier charges come on top and can change. Regulation: PP 36/2024 · Verified 10 October 2026.
Full day, 2D1N, 4D3N and 5D4N
The same four bands apply to every length, and each length has a table for each card below. The 2027 card is higher on every length from 2D1N to 5D4N and on three of the four full-day bands. The full-day band for 11 to 15 guests is the same on both cards.
For 16 guests the grid reads IDR 3,470,000 (≈ USD 213) each on the full day, IDR 4,670,000 (≈ USD 287) on 2D1N, IDR 6,470,000 (≈ USD 397) on 4D3N and IDR 8,440,000 (≈ USD 518) on 5D4N. For 25 guests it reads IDR 2,520,000 (≈ USD 155), IDR 3,390,000 (≈ USD 208), IDR 4,740,000 (≈ USD 291) and IDR 6,100,000 (≈ USD 374).
5D4N is a private-charter length only, since the open trip sails 3D2N with a 2D1N option. Days 1 to 3 follow the 4D3N route. Day 4 takes Senator, Kanawa and Sabolon, and day 5 closes with Rangko Cave and Seture. Senator, Sabolon and Rangko Cave are what the extra night adds. The rate card prints no return time for day 5, so the quote fixes it and you book flights home after that time.

Deposit, cancellation and the substitution guarantee
50 percent of the total confirms the date. Settle the balance 30 days before you sail, and a booking made inside that window pays in full. Cancelling 60 days or more out returns 50 percent, 59 to 30 days out returns 25 percent, and inside 30 days nothing is returned.
Names and passport details follow with the balance, as the booking steps lay out. One invoice goes to the organiser.
Moving the date is free up to 30 days out. Between 29 and 14 days out the change costs IDR 500,000, and 13 days or fewer before sailing it counts as a cancellation. The tables print the exact steps. Travel insurance is recommended, since the refund steps do not cover everything. A child of 0 to 2 years sails free beside a parent or guardian, and from age 3 the fare is full.
If a breakdown or an official order keeps the boat in port, the substitution guarantee moves your group, on its own dates and with nothing added, to an equal or better phinisi, or returns every rupiah within 14 days. A swap of stops is not a failure to sail.

Paying, and what to send first
The block below lists the payment methods, from a card link and PayPal to Wise, Revolut, QRIS, Alipay, WeChat Pay and a bank transfer. PayPal carries a 7.2 percent fee, and any other processing fee appears on the invoice before you pay it.
To start, send four facts: head count, the length you have in mind, the dates, and the kinds of cabin you expect to need. A company that wants the invoice in its legal name sends that name with them.
A charter fare is for the whole boat and the length you choose. The park lines, the guide and the photo set sit beside it as separate lines, so the quote you forward to your group shows all of them.

FAQ
Is 2027 open for booking yet?
Yes. A charter from 1 January to 31 July 2027 is priced from the 2027 card on this page, so a date in March 2027 reads straight off it. October 2027 has no printed card yet and follows the 2027 card until a new one appears, and the quote states the rate before any deposit.
Are the guide and photographs included in a private charter?
No. The open trip includes them and a charter fare does not. A charter group that wants a guide on its walks, or the drone and camera set, asks for them with the quote and sees each as its own priced line. Park tickets and the ranger fee are a third cost, paid separately by each guest.
What does the 21st guest cost, and where do they sleep?
On 3D2N each guest above 20 adds IDR 2,500,000 (≈ USD 153) to the whole-boat price. Guests 22 to 25 sleep on extra beds, because the 21 fixed berths are taken, and the licence stops at 25. As the added amount is small, the per-head figure keeps falling: IDR 4,100,000 (≈ USD 252) at 21 guests and IDR 3,840,000 (≈ USD 236) at 25.
Is the charter price per boat or per night?
It is per boat, for the whole length you choose, and it is not charged by the night. Five lengths are printed, from a full day to 5D4N, each in bands of up to 5, 10, 15 and 20 guests, with a printed amount for each extra guest up to 25. Divide by your real head count to get the share.
Can we choose any start date, and what if we are more than 25?
Charter dates are confirmed against the boat's calendar, so send two or three dates you could use. The licence stops at 25 guests. A larger party needs a second boat, and we can talk through that option with you.
How much is the deposit, and when does the rest fall due?
The deposit is 50 percent of the total and confirms the date. The balance falls due 30 days before you sail, and a booking made inside that window pays in full at once. Prices include 11 percent VAT, and a company invoice carries PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363.
