Seven cabins on a Komodo phinisi, with the open-trip price per person

Two pairs of cabins share a price, so seven cabins sell as five kinds. Jawa and Sumbawa are the masters, both at the stern. Flores is the balcony suite. Sulawesi and Bali are the sea-view pair upstairs, and Papua and Maluku the sea-view pair on the main deck.

Every cabin has a private bathroom with a sit-down toilet, one air conditioner, round two-pin sockets and a sea window. The sheets are grey-striped under a grey quilt, and each door carries a clear acrylic plate with a gold number and the island's name.

Three guests sleep in the fixed beds of any cabin. A fourth takes an extra bed everywhere except Flores, so a family of four fits in six of the seven rooms.

One fare buys one guest in a cabin shared by two, so a couple pays it twice. A third or fourth guest in that cabin pays the extra-bed rate instead. A cabin sells for a minimum of two: a lone traveller who wants a cabin alone pays two shares, and no solo supplement is printed.

A 3D2N fare buys three days and two nights. A 2D1N fare buys the first two days of that same sailing, which include Taka Makassar on day 2. You step off in Labuan Bajo between 19:00 and 20:30 that evening and miss the third morning.

Both fares include the local guide, the photo and video set, all meals, water, tea and coffee, a snack and a soft drink, mask and snorkel, linen, a bath towel and the transfers both ways. Neither includes park tickets and the ranger fee, flights, tips, travel insurance or fins.

The second table prints every 2027 fare and the extra-bed rate for each cabin class, for sailings from 1 January to 31 July 2027. Each 2027 open-trip fare is higher than its 2026 twin, in every cabin class and in both lengths. For 2026 sailings the extra-bed rate is not on the rate card, so we quote it with the booking.

August to December 2027 has no printed card yet, so those sailings follow the 2027 table until one appears.

Master and sea-view cabins take a third and a fourth guest at the extra-bed rate. Flores takes a third guest at its own printed rate and never a fourth. The rate is per extra guest and sits on top of the two shares that fill the cabin.

The open trip sails every Monday and Friday. The list skips any date that has sailed, is full or is held for a charter or for docking. On the full calendar, Few cabins left marks a sailing that was close to full on 11 October 2026.

A charter is the way to have the boat to yourselves, because an open-trip sailing is shared with other parties. Pick it when your party needs more than half the cabins.
