Sebayur Island on a private Komodo charter, day 3 of the 3D2N
Updated 12 October 2026
Sebayur is a private-charter stop on day 3 of the Princess Nabila 3D2N. The open trip goes to Kanawa or Seture instead. From Labuan Bajo the island is a sail of 90 to 120 minutes, with beaches and reef for snorkelling. A private 3D2N costs IDR 5,220,000 (≈ USD 320) per guest at 16 guests, before park tickets and guide.
Private charter only, and what that does to day 3
Sebayur is the stop to add when a group wants a second island on the last morning, with a beach and a reef and no walking. It exists only on the private 3D2N.
If someone asked for Sebayur by name, the open trip will not deliver it. Its day 3 is breakfast, then Kanawa or Seture, then a return to Labuan Bajo between 10:00 and 11:00. The private 3D2N spends the same morning on two stops, Sebayur and Kanawa.
That changes the clock. The private charter's return time is fixed in the confirmation, and the flight home still goes after 14:00 whatever the confirmation says. The private pickup hour is fixed there too, since it is not printed.
Choose the open trip for a Monday or Friday departure and a bed at a printed fare. Choose the private 3D2N when Sebayur is on someone's list and the head count makes the whole boat sensible.

What it is not: not inside the dragon trekking area
A beach and a reef, with no trek attached
Sebayur is the larger island of a small group of the same name, close to the Flores coast, and its beaches have reefs close by. The grade is easy and the current mild, so every swimmer in the group takes part, including the guest who skipped Padar.
No ranger leads a walk here and no dragon is on the list. A guest who was told that the last day is the dragon day was told wrongly. The dragons belong to day 2.
Sebayur is known as a beach-dinner stop, but the printed 3D2N has no dinner ashore, because dinners on the printed routes are served on board. An island dinner is an event on request, and it comes with its own quote.
What the extra island costs per head
Sebayur adds nothing to the fare, because it sits inside the printed 3D2N route. At 16 guests the whole boat is IDR 5,220,000 (≈ USD 320) per guest, and at 25 it is IDR 3,840,000 (≈ USD 236).
Neither figure carries park tickets, ranger fees, a guide or photographs. A guide and the documentation set are extras on a private charter, quoted separately on request. The ticket is IDR 250,000 per day for a foreign visitor, and the Indonesian rates are on the park-fees page.
Add those lines before you quote a per-head number to the group. Whatever number leaves them out is the one people will remember.
Distances, and four lines for the briefing
Count 90 to 120 minutes of sailing to Sebayur and 60 to 90 to Kanawa. Put both numbers in the group message, so nobody is surprised that the private last morning holds more than the open trip's.
- The last morning has two stops, not one.
- Bags are packed before breakfast.
- The flight home is after 14:00, not before.
- Sebayur is a swim and a snorkel, with no trek and no ranger.
Send those four lines as one message. Mask and snorkel are on board. Fins are not supplied. Bring your own pair. Every guest also goes home with a woven ikat cloth, which is one more item to fit into the bag.
FAQ
Is Sebayur on the open trip?
No. On the open trip day 3 is breakfast, then Kanawa or Seture island, and a return to Labuan Bajo between 10:00 and 11:00. Sebayur is a private-charter stop on day 3 of the 3D2N, together with Kanawa.
Does Sebayur make the last day longer?
A private 3D2N spends day 3 on two stops where the open trip has one, so the return hour comes from your confirmation and not from the open-trip window of 10:00 to 11:00. Book the flight home after 14:00 whatever hour is confirmed.
Can we have a beach dinner at Sebayur?
The island is known as a snorkelling and beach-dinner stop. The printed 3D2N has no dinner ashore, since dinners on the printed routes are served on board. An island dinner is an event on request, quoted separately, and where it is held is part of that quote.
How far is Sebayur from Labuan Bajo?
The sail takes 90 to 120 minutes. Kanawa, the other stop of the private day 3, is 60 to 90 minutes from Labuan Bajo. Both are planning figures and not timetables, because the printed route says the itinerary changes with sea conditions, weather and agreement on the day.
Do we need a ranger or a dragon trek at Sebayur?
No. Sebayur lies outside the dragon trekking area, so no ranger-led walk belongs to the stop. Fees for the rest of the trip are set out on the park-fees page, which has a calculator by number of guests and days.
