Princess Nabila Phinisi
Komodo company outing on a private phinisi
Updated 12 October 2026
Princess Nabila takes a company of 16 to 25 on a private charter: 7 cabins, 21 fixed berths, 25 on the licence. A 3D2N outing for 20 colleagues costs IDR 4,180,000 (≈ USD 256) each, VAT included, on one invoice to the organiser. Park tickets, a guide and photographs are separate lines.
The head count sets the price, so fix it before the date
An outing is easier to price than to fill. The boat is sold whole, in four printed bands up to 20 guests and then one printed amount for every guest from 21 to 25. Sixteen colleagues sit in the 16 to 20 band, which on a 3D2N charter is IDR 83,500,000 (≈ USD 5,123) for the whole boat.
Above 20, each extra guest adds IDR 2,500,000 (≈ USD 153) on a 3D2N, up to the licence of 25.
Charter dates are confirmed against the boat's calendar, which means you send two or three possible dates and not one. Two nights on the water give the 3D2N route. One night gives the 2D1N, for a company that can spare only a long weekend. The stops are listed day by day on the 3-day 2-night route page.
What each colleague costs
Pick the head count you expect and read the share for it. Every figure is the whole-boat price divided by the number of people, so it falls as the boat fills.
For 16 colleagues on a 3D2N charter the share is IDR 5,220,000 (≈ USD 320). At 20 it is IDR 4,180,000 (≈ USD 256). A full boat of 25 pays IDR 3,840,000 (≈ USD 236) each. Put the number you plan to charge staff, or the number your finance team will approve, beside those three, and you can see how many seats must be filled. The group charter rates page prints the grid for every head count from 1 to 25 and every length.
Three lines sit outside those figures. Park tickets are bought online, one per visitor, at IDR 250,000 for foreign guests and IDR 50,000 for Indonesian guests per person per day. Ranger fees come on top (see the park-fees page). A local guide and the photo and video set are not part of a charter fare, and each is quoted apart if you want it. Tips for the crew are not in the fare either. Put all of these in the budget your management sees, so nobody meets them for the first time on the pier.
Cabins by seniority, or by department
Fourteen colleagues or fewer can each have a bed of their own: seven cabins, each with a double bed and a single, so one colleague takes the double and one takes the single. From 15 colleagues somebody shares a double. Decide who sleeps beside whom before the rooming list goes out, because a list corrected after it circulates starts arguments.
Two cabins have a private balcony at the stern, one above the other: Jawa on the main deck and Sumbawa on the upper deck. The Flores suite has a side balcony and takes three guests at most. Companies give these three to the directors, to the colleagues who are celebrating something, or to a draw. Whichever rule you pick, announce it together with the list.
Four cabins look out to sea without a balcony: Sulawesi and Bali upstairs, Papua and Maluku on the main deck. Put anyone who dislikes stairs on the main deck. Guests 22 to 25 sleep on extra beds in cabins that take a fourth person, and Flores cannot.
A working session on board, and where it stops
The boat suits a day of talking better than a day of slides. There is no room with tables for 25. The restaurant has a buffet island in the middle and counters along three walls with about 20 chairs, one flat wall TV above a low wooden cabinet and air conditioning, but no dining tables. In the footage of a lunch on 1 June 2025 the island held about ten dishes on red runners, and each colleague serves a plate and takes a counter seat. A full company eats in two sittings or takes dinner on the sun deck.
Plan the programme around that. A short session for up to 20 fits at the counters. Anything longer or larger moves to the turf deck, which has around a dozen bean bags, wooden benches and two floodlights on the mast, and no shade at all at midday. Wi-Fi is Starlink, so keep a presentation on a laptop rather than in the cloud. Karaoke and a sound system come with the private charter.
A meeting on board or on an island, a seafood dinner, decoration and a photographer are available on request. A quote comes first and nothing joins the fare without it. The pickup-and-events page lists each one. If you need tables for 25, hold the strategy day in a hotel meeting room and use the boat for the days that follow.
Invoice, deadlines and what to send us
The seller is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363. Prices include 11% VAT. One invoice goes to the organiser. Accepted methods are PayPal, Wise, Revolut, a card link, QRIS, Alipay, bank transfer and WeChat Pay via our payment partner.
A deposit of 50% confirms the date. The rest is paid 30 days before departure, and the names and passport details go with it, as the booking steps explain.
Before you pay the deposit, check five things:
- The head count and the kinds of cabin are in the quote.
- The date is confirmed against the boat's calendar.
- Someone has taken Jawa, Sumbawa and Flores, and the rule for that choice is announced.
- The budget has lines for park tickets, ranger, guide and photographs.
- One person owns the passport list and its deadline.
Send us your head count and two possible dates.
FAQ
Can we get separate invoices for each department?
One invoice goes to the organiser, and the seller on it is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363. Need separate invoices? Say so before the deposit. Prices include 11% VAT, the deposit is 50% and the remainder is paid 30 days ahead of departure.
Is a speedboat day trip a better team outing than the boat?
A company of fewer than 10 that must be home by evening has a lighter plan in a speedboat day trip. This boat also sails a full-day charter: IDR 2,520,000 (≈ USD 155) each for 25 guests, IDR 4,900,000 (≈ USD 301) each for 10. An overnight 2D1N for 20 colleagues comes to IDR 3,740,000 (≈ USD 229) each and adds a night on the water.
Do directors get a separate cabin from the rest of the staff?
Three cabins have a private balcony: Jawa, Sumbawa and the Flores suite. The organiser decides who takes them, and the choice goes on your list. Every cabin has its own bathroom, a sea window and air conditioning, so none of the other four shares a bathroom.
Can 30 colleagues come on one boat?
No. The licence stops at 25 guests, with 21 fixed berths and extra beds for guests 22 to 25. A larger company needs a second boat, and we can advise on one. Send the full head count and two possible dates, and ask.
Can we run karaoke or a company quiz on board?
Karaoke and a sound system come with the private charter. The restaurant has a wall TV and seats about 20 at its counters. The sun deck has a turf floor, bean bags and two mast floodlights, so a quiz for 25 runs upstairs in the evening, with no shade to rely on by day.
