How the four days divide

The route puts three stops on each of days 1 and 2, four on day 3 and two on day 4, so no day carries more than four. Day 1 is Kelor, Manjarite and the flying foxes at Kalong. Day 2 keeps to Padar, the Komodo walk and Pink Beach. Day 3 is the full one, with the Gili Lawa ridge, Manta Point, Taka Makassar and Siaba. Day 4 is Kanawa and Seture, and then home.

This is a private route only. The open trip sells 3D2N and 2D1N and nothing longer, so a group that wants four days charters the whole boat. The table shows the route as printed. It carries no clock time for any stop, and pickup is at the hour agreed in your confirmation.

The captain keeps the right to re-order a day for sea, wind and tide, and Manta Point and Taka Makassar swap places with the tide on day 3. The park quota can still close a landing, and the captain then sets the day again.

What the fourth day buys over three

Compared with a private 3D2N, the extra day changes four things. Padar and Gili Lawa are both on the route, one on day 2 and one on day 3, instead of either/or. Siaba, the turtle reef, is added. Seture is added as the last swim. The pace of day 2 relaxes, because after Pink Beach and lunch the route names no further stop before dinner on board.

That unnamed stretch is time on board. The roof has green turf and around a dozen bean bags, and the paddle board and the two-seat kayak are there for it. With 20 guests the water toys go round in turns, and a stretch with no stop is where the turns fit.

Day 2 still has its ranger walk on Komodo, with the ranger fee outside the fare (see the park-fees page), and Pink Beach still takes several tender trips for a full group.

What the route does not carry is Sebayur or a beach dinner. If your group wants an island dinner, it is an event on request, quoted before you pay and added to the file.

Who four days suits

  • Extended families. Grandparents sleep in Jawa, Papua or Maluku on the main deck, with no stairs to the restaurant, and day 2 leaves them a quiet stretch on board.
  • Photographers. Two ridge walks, Padar on day 2 and Gili Lawa on day 3, give two mornings of low light. Drones need a park permit, quoted as a separate line.
  • Friends and graduates splitting a charter. At 20 guests the whole boat is IDR 5,180,000 (≈ USD 318) each, and four days gives a class or a group of friends a stretch on day 2 with no stop to catch.
  • Companies with a programme. Day 2 leaves room for a talk on board. The restaurant has counters and no tables, so plan a talk, not a table-based meeting.

Choose a shorter route if the group has three days of leave, not four, or if the budget is set by the 3D2N figure. Choose a longer one if the group wants Rangko Cave and Sabolon, which belong to the 5D4N route priced on the group charter rates page.

The head-count line for four days

If your group is 12 guests, the whole boat on 4D3N costs IDR 7,960,000 (≈ USD 488) each. At 16 guests it is IDR 6,470,000 (≈ USD 397) each, which is IDR 103,500,000 (≈ USD 6,350) for the boat. At 20 it is IDR 5,180,000 (≈ USD 318), and at 25 it is IDR 4,740,000 (≈ USD 291), with IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184) added to the boat price for each guest from the 21st.

The table prints all four bands, and the 2027 list sits beneath the current one for days from 1 January 2027. A group of 5 or fewer pays IDR 79,500,000 (≈ USD 4,877) for the boat. Below 15 guests the open trip, which runs 3 days at most, costs less per head.

Park tickets are priced per person per day and are never in the fare. The park-fees page has the calculator. Tips, flights and hotel nights are yours too, and a guide and the photo set are quoted on request.

Minutes between the stops

From the pier, Kelor takes 50 to 70 minutes, Manjarite another 30 to 60, and Kalong 50 to 70 beyond that. On day 3, Manta Point to Taka Makassar is 20 to 30 minutes and Taka Makassar to Siaba is 60 to 90. The last morning ends with 60 to 90 minutes back to Labuan Bajo, arriving late morning. Book flights after 14:00.

Read the map for position only. The legs table lists the pairs of stops for which we hold a range, and its last column says how firm each one is.

FAQ

Does the open trip run for 4 days and 3 nights?

No. The open trip is 3D2N on every Monday and Friday, with a 2D1N option for guests who step off on the evening of day 2. A four-day route is a private charter, and it is priced for the whole boat at IDR 103,500,000 (≈ USD 6,350) for 16 to 20 guests.

What happens on day 3 of the 4D3N route?

Day 3 starts with the Gili Lawa ridge walk. After breakfast come Manta Point and Taka Makassar, in the order the tide allows, then lunch and the turtle reef at Siaba. Dinner is on board. It is the longest day on the route, with four stops.

What does 4D3N cost per head for 12 guests and for 25?

For 12 guests it is IDR 7,960,000 (≈ USD 488) each and for 25 guests it is IDR 4,740,000 (≈ USD 291) each, including IDR 3,000,000 (≈ USD 184) per guest above 20. Park tickets, guide and photographs are not in the fare and are quoted or paid separately.

When are we back on the last day, and which flight can we take?

The boat reaches Labuan Bajo late morning on day 4, and the transfer to your hotel or the airport follows. Book a flight after 14:00. The sail back from Kanawa and Seture is 60 to 90 minutes, and the exact hour is fixed in the quote.

Is there a route longer than 4 days?

Yes, a 5D4N private route. It adds Senator island and Sabolon beach on day 4 and Rangko Cave on day 5. It is priced on the group charter rates page, and the stop list is written into the quote like any other.
