Princess Nabila Phinisi
Company event on a Komodo phinisi: what the boat can host
Updated 12 October 2026
A company event here has one restaurant with about 20 counter seats, a turf sun deck with no shade, a sound system on charters and Starlink Wi-Fi, but no meeting room with tables for 25. A 3D2N charter at 20 guests costs IDR 4,180,000 (≈ USD 256) each, with 11% VAT inside the price.
What the boat gives a company
Four things carry an event on Princess Nabila, and each has a job.
- The restaurant. Air-conditioned, with windows that open. A square buffet island stands in the middle and wooden counters run along the walls, with about 20 chairs. A flat TV hangs on the wall above a low wooden cabinet. Use it for the welcome briefing, for meals, and for any session that works at a counter.
- The turf deck. Green artificial turf from end to end, around a dozen bean bags, wooden benches and two floodlights on the mast. Use it from late afternoon for awards, a quiz or dinner.
- The water. The footage shows one two-seat kayak and one paddle board. Mask and snorkel come with the boat, and fins do not. A rota keeps 25 people busy in turns.
- The sound. The booklet lists a karaoke and sound system with every private charter.
You hold the programme, the captain holds the course, and the sea can move a stop. Keep the agenda loose enough to take that.
What it cannot do
Read this section before head office reads the brief.
- No meeting room. There are no dining tables and the counters are not conference tables. The restaurant seats about 20, so 25 people sit in two groups.
- No shade on the roof. The turf deck is open to the sky, which rules it out at midday. Cover exists only indoors and on the awning-covered deck at the front of the upper level.
- Wi-Fi. Starlink is fitted, with no speed printed, so plan no all-hands video call.
- One wall TV. It is not a projector screen, and the rate card does not say whether a laptop connects to it. Do not build a slide session around it.
- Stairs. Three levels and no lift.
Book the seated workshop day at a hotel on land, and use the boat for what only a boat does. If the agenda is eight hours of slides, choose something else.
A sample two-day programme
This sample follows the printed private 2D1N route: Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong on day 1, then Padar, Komodo, Pink Beach and Manta Point on day 2. The pickup hour is the one in your confirmation. The captain sets the stop order each day, because sea state, weather and the park's quota decide it.
- Day 1, pickup and boarding. A short briefing in the restaurant, where the counters seat about 20.
- Day 1, afternoon. Kelor has a short, steep hill walk with a bay viewpoint. Manjarite is a snorkel stop.
- Day 1, sunset. Kalong. The flying foxes leave their mangroves about 15 minutes after sunset, and the show is watched from the boat.
- Day 1, evening. Dinner in two sittings in the restaurant, or on the turf deck. On 31 May 2025 about 20 guests ate at one long low table up there, on bean bags under two mast floodlights. Awards and karaoke can follow. On the day, the weather and the captain's decision settle where the boat spends the night.
- Day 2, first stop of the day. Padar. Allow 25 to 45 minutes for the climb to the main viewpoint.
- Day 2, then. Komodo with a park ranger, the Pink Beach snorkel, and Manta Point, where snorkellers drift with the current.
- Day 2, return. The time is fixed in your confirmation.
A sample three-day programme
The private 3D2N route adds Taka Makassar to day 2 and gives day 3 to Sebayur and Kanawa. Day 1 matches the sample above, so the extra day is where a company finds room for a real programme.
- Day 2, morning. Padar, then Komodo with a park ranger. Sturdy shoes and sun cover matter before the trek, because the trails have little shade.
- Day 2, midday. Pink Beach and Manta Point. Manta Point has a current, so it suits confident swimmers, and anyone less sure should wear a life jacket.
- Day 2, afternoon. Taka Makassar, a sandbar that shows at low tide only. The tide decides whether it is a walk or a swim.
- Day 2, evening. The main dinner. Hold the awards on the turf under the floodlights while the light is still good.
- Day 3. Sebayur and Kanawa, both easy beach and snorkel stops. Every guest takes home an ikat cloth, which makes a closing item.
- Day 3, return. The time is fixed in your confirmation.
If the company wants a working session, hold it in the restaurant in two groups of about a dozen, on a stretch of the day with no landing.
Dinners, a photographer and decoration
Beyond the programme, the pickup and events page lists nine things on request. For a company, five matter most: a meeting on board or on an island, a dinner on an island, a private island dinner, a seafood dinner and a photographer.
A photographer or a drone needs a park permit, and photo and video documentation on a charter is quoted separately. A company that wants a film of the trip should say so in the first message, so the permit and the quote travel together.
Events have no fixed price. Head count, island and season set each quote, and nothing joins the fare until you have agreed that quote.
Invoicing the company
One invoice goes to the organiser. If it must carry your company's legal name, billing address and registration number, say so with your first message. The seller is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, and the price includes 11% VAT.
Finance pays 50% as the deposit and the rest 30 days before departure, by bank transfer in rupiah, by card link, or through Wise or Revolut. The other methods on the booking page are open to it too.
Event lines are quoted apart from the boat fare, so finance sees what the programme costs and what the voyage costs. The seller's details are below for your accounts form.

Six checks before head office signs
Run these for the person who answers to head office.
- The programme fits on one page and names the space each item uses.
- No seated session is planned for more than about 20 people at once.
- Nothing is scheduled on the turf deck at midday.
- The head count sits inside one price band, with the band edge in view.
- Nobody has promised head office a slide session on the wall TV or a speaker position, because neither is printed.
- A guide and documentation are priced if the company wants either, because neither is in a charter fare.
Then send the agenda, the head count and two dates. A 3D2N charter at 25 guests works out at IDR 3,840,000 (≈ USD 236) each before park tickets.
FAQ
Can we run a meeting with tables on board?
Not with tables. The restaurant has a buffet island and counters with about 20 chairs, and no dining tables. A session for up to about 20 works at the counters. For 25 people, split the group in two or hold the seated day at a hotel on land.
Is there a sound system for an evening programme?
The printed list for a private charter includes karaoke and a sound system. It does not say which space the system serves, so do not promise head office a position. The turf deck has two mast floodlights for an evening programme, and the restaurant has a wall TV.
Can we invoice the company instead of each employee?
One invoice goes to the organiser. If it must carry your company's legal name, billing address and registration number, say so with your first message. The seller is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, and 11% VAT is inside the price.
Will a video call work from the boat?
Do not plan on one. Starlink Wi-Fi is fitted and appears on the 2026 and 2027 rate cards, but no speed and no user limit is printed, so send large files before you board and hold any all-hands call on land.
Can we hire a photographer or a drone for the event?
A photographer or drone is one of the nine services on request, quoted for your dates. A drone needs a park permit. Photo and video documentation is included on the open trip only. On a private charter it is quoted separately, so ask in your first message.
